Colombian born and American raised, My coming into photography and videography  came at a later age and my path was not paved from the start. I began as Biology major at Penn State University and soon realized that there was no passion there for me. I became a Photography major and that is where I can say my journey began. Through photography we see who we really are because the camera is able to capture what the naked eye can not grasp. In my time working with large format cameras and film, I have come to understand that photography is still a precious medium that when valued and done correctly can display the true beauty of nature, society and our own lives. Documentary, portraiture and self portraits are where I currently find my work being pushed towards. I feel that documenting the music scene and various individuals allow me to balance out a passion for two things that I truly love. Meanwhile classic beatuy shots and portraiture allow me the freedom of utlizing and manipulating light to showcase my subjects.
